Selecting your puppy:
Families will send me a list of their desired puppies, listed 1-6. This list is due to me no later than week 4. This is because deposits are non-refundable after week five, and families at the end of the list should know whether they need to “pass” and get a refund, or get a puppy. If there is a puppy that you are certainly not interested in adopting, please place them at the bottom of your list and note that you would rather pass in parentheses. This way, as soon as the first family chooses, I can contact the next and let them know which puppy is unavailable. We’ll assess their 1-6 list, and the second family will then decide. I’ll then contact the third family with which two puppies are unavailable, we’ll assess their 1-6 list, and they will select from the remaining puppies. The process repeats unless someone opts to “pass”, in which case I continue through the remaining families.
I understand wanting to await decision-making based on personality development. It is for this reason I ask for a list. The list isn’t set in stone, and when the time comes, you still have your pick of the remaining puppies. Each list is kept private, so your “selections” aren’t made public until you absolutely choose your puppy. Making a list simply allows me to see what my families are thinking and I can be diplomatic with helping get people the puppy they want. For instance: say someone is dying for a red puppy, and they’re last to choose. If the family before them is impartial to a red or a sable, I would steer them towards the sable so that the other family could have the red. That is as far as I go “steering” someone in one direction or another. Ultimately, it is your choice and I’m happy to answer any questions you have along the way!
Georgia
Named for Georgia O’Keefe, this little red girl is the runt of the litter. Although I love them all, she stole my heart as the smallest, born at 6.2oz. I also love the name Georgia! Kona has always had a token red puppy in her litters, so I find it funny that Maxine also had a single red puppy in hers. Georgia is a beautiful red/apricot puppy with a white chest & neck. She may also have white paws and tail-tip, but those will develop further over the next few weeks.
Frida
Named after the iconic Frida Kahlo, our Ms.Frida is a gorgeous tuxedo-sable. As a sable, she has a solid base color with another color marking her feet, chest, and face. However she also has white on her chest and chin (good luck getting a shot of that at this point, haha), this makes her a tuxedo. Sables will likely change in color as their coat develops, and as they age. I’m so excited to watch her grow; her color is unique and stunning.
Gertrude
Gertrude is another half of my many twins! Max had four parti puppies, two of which are apricot partis (Gertrude and June). Gertrude is tied for the largest puppy with Lina. She is predominantly white with light apricot on her face and rump. Her smaller sister, June, has a few more apricot spots on her body, but not many. She’s named for Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney.
June
Named for June Leaf, I adore this second-smallest girl. She is a beautiful apricot parti, nearly identical to her sister, though Gertrude is about 50% larger. June is already a very sweet puppy, and is calmer than her sisters. She is an apricot parti, but has more spots on her body than Gertrude. Both Gertrude and June have predominantly white coats.

Leonora
Leo is a carbon-copy of Max! She has nearly identical markings to Maxine, who also looks identical to her grandma, Gracie. Therefore, I love when this pattern arrives! Leo, or Nora, looks just like Max, and is a black and white parti. Her “twin”, Lina, looks similar but Lina’s body is nearly all white. Leo is named for artist Leonora Carrington. Also, I enjoy Max’s unique, uni-sex name, so I felt the same when naming Leonora. I call her Nora occasionally, but I also like Leo for a girl. It stands out, like her mom.

Lina
Lina is one half of my “Max” twins, the other half being Leonora. Lina has far more white than Leo, and could very well be a tri-color. She has beautiful light brown markings on her cheeks and eyebrows that may fade. If they stick around, she’ll be considered a tri-color parti (at least 50% white + another color). She and Gertrude are tied for the largest pup. Named for Lina Iris Viktor.
