Before applying, please check our waitlist and puppy availability! We allow for 15 families on our waitlist at a time; this is usually equivalent to one years worth of litters (about 15 puppies born/year). Therefore, after each litter, our waitlist opens back up to accept roughly 5-7 more families, or until we reach a total of 15. We announce when our waitlist opens back up via social media, so please follow us on Instagram or Facebook to stay up to date!

Waitlist Fee

(not an application fee)

We have instituted a $50 nonrefundable fee to join our waitlist. This $50 fee is deducted from the total cost of your puppy should you follow through with an adoption. Only the first five families on our waitlist are required to pay our $500 deposit when litters are born. Once puppies are born, families then pay their remaining balance with the $50 waitlist fee and the $500 deposit taken into account.

When you apply, this begins an email discussion with Jake who will accept or deny your application. If accepted, you must pay $50 to join the waitlist (paid electronically via venmo or cashapp).

This fee is meant to deter those that join our waitlist only to get cold feet and “ghost” us months later. It also is meant to deter those that apply to multiple breeders/litters at once in the hopes of increasing the likelihood of choosing a puppy they like the most.

We regularly email our families Atlas Updates, which is wasted on those that never respond and need to be removed. Additionally, we receive applications daily and must turn away great candidates because our waitlist is full. Therefore, it is especially frustrating to cut 2-3 families from our waitlist that simply never respond.

Applications are accepted for anyone wishing to join our waiting list and begin the conversation of adoption. All are welcome regardless of marital status, age, sex, gender, and religion; a happy, healthy home is all I can wish for my puppies.

I would like to stress that all questions asked in the application help to better assess the spatial needs and size requirements for an individual/family, and are in no way a means to deter or intimidate applicants. We want to know more about you to help you! Answer all questions openly and honestly, and feel free to expect the same of me.

Are you legally an adult?

You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt a puppy. If not, a parent/guardian must be the primary point of contact, applicant, and contact for business transactions.

How many people live in your home? Children? How many and what are their ages?

Briefly Describe your home (apt, condo, house, etc). Is there a yard or nearby park?

Do you suffer from pet allergies? If so, are they moderate? Severe?

Allergies can help us to determine the best pick for you and your family. Some puppies will express a higher likelihood of extremely low-shed coats than others.

What is your ideal timeframe

heat cycles and breedings are fairly consistent, however nature has a mind of her own. Indicate the best time frame for your family and we will do our best to accommodate.

Would you prefer Kona's or Max's offspring?

Both girls are fantastic, and opportunity calls when it wants. However, if there is a specific female of mine that you would like a puppy from, please feel free to let me know!

Would you like a male, female, or no preference?

Do you intend on breeding your dog?

Those intending to purchase a dog for future breeding purposes will undergo an additional application process and screening. Ideally, long-term communications will be established.

What country/state do you live in?

We do not discriminate based on geography (or anything for that matter). We simply would like to know where our puppies are going to call home!

Would you like us to deliver your puppy to you?

Due to Covid, we are no longer allowing visitors to our home. We are happy to meet you in our charming little college town if you make the drive. We are also happy to deliver our puppies to you! With most families living along the east coast (US), deliveries can generally be one in 1-2 days. Safety measures will be taken to ensure protection of humans and puppies alike.

Do you understand there is a $50 waitlist fee should your application be accepted?
